Unlike natural teak the faux teak reduces the need to maintain it so regularly. It doesn’t lose color with exposure to sunlight. It is ultraviolet (UV) resistant meaning it won’t fade or change color like real teak or other materials. This also means your patio table will require very little maintenance and you won’t have to worry about applying protective coatings to it. It is quite stain-proof and resistant to oil and grease that can be washed away with soap and water.
Faux teak is affordable, especially when compared to real teak, but also in relation to other materials such as solid wood. It also has a uniform appearance and a variety of colors and shades from which to choose. It is also a lightweight material which makes it easy to move and yet it’s stable enough to be left outdoors in moderate winds. This is a terrific option for great looking durable outdoor furniture.
