Opened in the Fall of 2013, the Mojave Cantina has quickly become the new go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in the small town of South Lyon, MI. Dubbed the City with Small Town Charm, this small hamlet can now also boast the best Mexican food on offer in the community. With a festive dining area, this fun eatery boasts a colorful and memorable décor that will keep patrons coming back.
Menu & Design
Traditional Mexican fare is offered here, including staples like tacos and burritos, as well as specialty dishes such as their Molcajete, Chile Rellenos, and a variety of Enchiladas. The Cantina also features a full bar, where customers can order anything from the many variations of the classic Margarita to a variety of tequilas by the shot. Specialty drinks include the Mexican Mule, Paloma Fresca, and the Mojave Sunset, which consists of mango rum, black spiced rum, peach puree, and cranberry juice.
The design of the space is rustic with an urban touch, with an emphasis on traditional Mexican décor. The wood of the tables and chairs pairs nicely with the wood paneling on the walls. Arched entryways emphasize the ethnic Spanish influence, and decorative wall sconces mimic the look of candle-lit lanterns. A spray of greenery adds visual interest, while the rust and dark yellow-colored walls and sand-colored booths further enhance the Mexican roots of the venue.
The bar area is an urban island unto itself, with purple under-bar lighting and sleek rows of backlit bottles on display. The colors in this area really pop, providing unique visual appeal, welcoming customers to relax and unwind with a shot of top-shelf tequila. The brightly hued assortment of taps promise beer lovers a choice of craft brews from around the world.
Premium Vertical Slat Wood Chair & Bar Stool
